At some point in relationships,especially those ones that just can’t seem for the life of us work out, become toxic. We continue to keep putting our all into something that was probably doomed for failure from the start. However, we seem to think we have it all figured out.(Haa!) We continue to allow ourselves to be placed in situations with the person we love, thinking that they’re going to change. But what we fail to realize is that, each time we brush an issue under the rug with our mate, we become an enabler to their habit. So, in actuality, we’re not helping them change, we’re prepetuating the cycle.
Understand this, ANYONE who truly loves you will NOT hurt you! It as simple as that. You don’t need a Ph.D to figure that out. So when you find yourself in a world of shit while in a relationship, take a step back and look. Is this REALLY worth fighting for? Or is this just emotional cancer?? Don’t commit yourself to stress when you deserve the BEST!
